First Tuesday Book Club 1 March 2011

On Tuesday 1 March, I'm a guest on ABC TV's First Tuesday Book Club, hosted by the inimitable and very lovely Jennifer Byrne. The First Tuesday Book Club is broadcast at 10 pm (Sydney time) around Australia and repeated on the following Sunday at 4.30 pm. The new book we're discussing is John LeCarré's Our Kind of Traitor and the classic, which I got to pick, is Madam Bovary by Flaubert. Like Henry James, I consider Madam Bovary the perfect novel.
